This paper presents an application case of a dual cold source air conditioning system with indirect evaporative cooling air conditioning unit and air-cooled chilled water system in a financial data center in Inner Mongolia. According to the climate conditions of Inner Mongolia, the overall structure of the system is described, and the energy saving of the system is analysed in detail in order to achieve the “double low” goal of power usage effectiveness (PUE) and water usage effectiveness (WUE) in Inner Mongolia. The simulation software is used to simulate the air distribution in the data room. The results show that the temperature distribution in the room is uniform no matter under which operating condition of the air conditioner in the data room. In the thermal environment evaluation index parameters of the data room, the supply heat index (SHI) value is close to 0, and the return heat index (RHI) value is close to 1. The air distribution in the data room is good, the air supply efficiency of the air conditioner is high, and the cabinets have no hot spots.
